O verbo indica ser ou estar, dependendo do complemento da frase.
Na negativa, basta incluir o NOT : am not, is not, are not.
Você também pode escrever na forma abreviada: 'm not, isn't, aren't.
Na interrogativa (pergunta), você precisa apenas inverter, colocar o verbo (AM, IS ou ARE) no começo da frase.
